Enforcement of Patents

The last workshop in the IP Series, this is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to get a thorough overview of patent law —providing a basic understanding of the various factors that should be considered in enforcing your patent.

This program is designed to give you a basic understanding of establishing a sound intellectual property portfolio and strategy, with emphasis on innovation protection using the patent system and trade secrets. It will also cover the legal requirements and basic process for obtaining a patent, and the effect of recent major changes to the U.S. patent system.
