The San Diego Tech Coast Angels (SDTCA) are pleased to offer a full-day seminar on angel investing to the San Diego community. This seminar was developed by the Kauffman Foundation, the leading center for entrepreneurial education in the country and is now offered by the Angel Capital Education Foundation. This seminar has been delivered on over 100 occasions in four countries. TCA licensed this product from Kauffman in 2002 and successfully delivered the seminar ten times in San Diego.

Who is the faculty for this angel seminar?
Local experts in angel investing will deliver this seminar. Three very experienced angel investors will be joined in leading this seminar by two local entrepreneurs whose firms were financed by angels and have now exited their businesses. These practitioners will be joined by legal and tax experts from the San Diego community. Each of these experts has many years of experience in angel investments.

Tell me about the logistics of the day.
Participants and faculty will gather for a light buffet breakfast at the Mintz Levin office, 3580 Carmel Mountain Road Suite 300 San Diego, CA 92130. This facility is specifically designed for delivering seminars. A full day program on angel investing will include several panel discussions, expert presentations and case studies in breakout sessions. At mid-day, a buffet lunch will be served. Networking opportunities with faculty and participants will be available during breaks in the meeting and during the cocktails and snacks between 4:30 and 6:00 p.m.
