Eligibility Criteria

• The product must have been developed in San Diego
• The product must have been first introduced between September 2008 and September 2009
• The product must have generated revenue from sales

Beta test products are not eligible for the competition. 2nd-generation (and higher) products are eligible, but the nominator must explicitly detail the innovation in the current product from earlier versions. There is no limit to the number of products or technologies each company may submit, but each entry may be nominated in only one category. In collaborative partnerships, the local San Diego partner must be an active research participant in the nominated technology
