San Diego MIT® Enterprise Forum

Real Companies. Real Issues. Real Feedback.
The San Diego MIT® Enterprise Forum hosts nine programs annually–seven case studies and two special topic programs–September through November and January through June.  It also hosts an annual summer Wine Social, which has become one of the premier technology networking events, attended by 700 business leaders.

  • UNIQUE CASE STUDY FORMAT: The Forum welcomes the CEO of a local, up and coming, high technology company to present an executive overview and two current challenges facing the business. Presenting companies are privately held and have either completed a round of funding or are generating revenue to date.
  • MENTORING: An expert panel of advisors lends their advice and draws upon their experiences to provide feedback and potential solutions to these challenges based on their own professional experiences and expertise.
  • EDUCATION: These business challenges are those encountered by most any aspiring entrepreneur—including financial, marketing, application of technology, operations, management, growth, diversification and more—everyone walks away enlightened!
  • EVERYONE IS WELCOME: All programs are presented in an open forum of approximately 200 guests; audience participation is encouraged.

The San Diego MIT Enterprise Forum is a chapter of MIT Enterprise Forum, Inc.  The local chapter is managed by CONNECT.

"Presenting at this month's MIT® Enterprise Forum was a great experience for not only me, but also for many members of my senior management. It was extremely well organized from top to bottom and the required preparation forced us to look at our company from many different perspectives. We not only received some very valuable advice during the process, but also made more solid contacts than we do in several days from trade shows that cost us thousands of dollars to attend. I cannot thank you enough for the opportunity that you gave us!!"

"Dr. Beyster’s philosophies have had a remarkable impact on shaping my organization’s corporate culture through our experiences with the Beyster Institute’s employee equity compensation program. It was truly inspiring to listen to Dr. Beyster describe how these philosophies built SAIC, especially his perspective on keeping C-Level compensation reasonable within an organization."
